Trump travels to WI

The White House says President Donald Trump will travel to Kenosha Tuesday for meetings with law enforcement officials and to survey damage caused by rioting Democrats have asked the president to stay away. It has been more than a week of protests in the southeastern Wisconsin city after a police officer shot 29-year-old Jacob Blake. The president praised the federal presence in Wisconsin Saturday, giving it credit for bringing the violence under control. Last week’s Republican National Convention focused a lot of attention on violence and property damage caused by protests over racial injustice and police brutality this summer.
