N-F-L news

The “Rooney Rule” is the focus as N-F-L owners meet virtually today.

“The N-F-L Network” reports teams will be required to interview at least

two outside minority candidates for a head coaching position and at least one for a coordinator job if the proposal is approved, as expected. Owners are also expected to vote today on two other resolutions.

If the N-F-L is able to play this fall, it could take some important steps to keeping players safe amid the coronavirus outbreak. N-F-L-P-A medical director Thom Mayer is recommending that players wear modified facemasks that protect themselves. A prototype is currently being designed by Oakley.
