Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is comparing the current COVID-19 restrictions to being on house arrest. It isn’t clear if the pandemic will affect plans for the start of the 2020 N-F-L season yet. Rodgers says he wants the season to start on time, but there are bigger problems facing the country. He points to more than 36 million people on unemployment and 80 times as many calls to suicide hotlines. Rodgers tells Green Bay-area reporters he hopes we can use some common sense and make decisions in the best interest of all people. He says he hopes sports will be a part of that.
