Flags At Half-Staff Friday In Memory Of Maj. Gen. Matera

Governor Tony Evers has ordered the US and Wisconsin flags to be flown at half-staff at all state buildings today, Friday, May 24th, in memory of Major General Raymond Matera , who died at the age of 94. Matera served as the Adjutant General for the State of Wisconsin from 1979 to 1989, overseeing the federal and state missions of the Wisconsin Air and Army National Guards.  Matera’s funeral is scheduled for today in Madison.
