The Amery City Council met in regular session on Wednesday, Jan.7 in the council chambers in City Hall.
The Council extended its gratitude to Officer John Carlson and Assistant Chief Joe Vierkandt for their service to the city and wished them luck in their new ventures.
The council voted to accept the developers agreement with Dick’s Fresh Market, and approved the hiring of Joshua Tyler for full time Police officer in the city, effective Feb. 41
The Council went into Closed Session under WI Statute 19.85(1)(e). for 15 minutes.
After the Closed Session, the Council approved a purchase agreement for the Bremer Bank Building in the amount of $350,000.00, then moved to send out requests for proposal regarding the Bremer Bank Building. The council also approved signing the Condo Agreement with Amery Hospital.
