Brewers Lose

The Cincinnati Reds used homers by Eugenio Suarez, Mike Moustakas, and Curt Casali to claim a come-from-behind 6-3 win over the Brewers Monday night. Cincinnati’s eighth win in the last nine games moved the Reds into a second-place tie with St. Louis. Brandon Woodruff absorbed his second loss despite striking out nine batters in five-and-two-thirds innings. He gave up the sixth-inning blast to Suarez that put the Reds ahead to stay. Luis Castillo claimed his fourth straight win. Brett Anderson starts this evening’s (Tuesday’s) 5:40 p-rn game at the Great American Ballpark for Milwaukee.
