Amery Well #3 Pump Failed, Need For Water Conservation

Amery Public Works Director Bones McCarty visited WPCA Radio on Sunday, June 9, to announce that the water pump at Well Number Three of the City of Amery had ceased working.  McCarty said they called the well company and repairs will be completed within two weeks.  McCarty urged residents to curtail water use as much as possible to conserve water in the towers.  City residents and businesses uses about 300-thousand gallons of water per day; with one well out of commission, keeping the towers full could be a challenge.  So the word is: use less water if you can for the benefit of all our fellow residents in the City, until well repairs are complete in about two weeks.
