Wis. Flies Flags At Half-mast For Ellis

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker ordered all US flags, as well as Wisconsin state flags, to be flown at half-staff today out of respect for former state senator Michael Ellis, who died on July 20th.  Ellis was a member of various branches of politics, starting with the Neenah Common Council in 1969.  He then served in the Wisconsin State Assembly from 1971-1982, as well as the State Senate from 1983 to 2015.  In addition, Ellis served as the President of the Wisconsin State Senate from 2011 and 2015.
