Man Who Killed 3v Girl Scouts & Parent Was Intoxicated

The man who ran off the road and hit five people, including four Girl Scouts was allegedly intoxicated.  Colton Treu, age 21 of Chippewa Falls, is being held on four counts of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle, four counts of homicide by negligent use of a vehicle, and five counts of hit and run. According to police, Treu was driving northbound on Highway P near Lake Hallie when he went off the road hitting four Girl Scouts and a parent.  Three of the Girl Scouts were killed.  The mother of one of the Girl Scouts was also killed.  Another child remains in the hospital.  Police said Treu fled the scene and was later arrested when he turned hiumself in.
