Amery City Council meets Today

Frances Duncanson, the Amery Clerk-Treasurer, has announced today’s meeting of the Amery City Council: it will begin at 5pm in the City Council Chambers at the Amery City Hall. Today’s agenda includes a zoning correction; the borrowing of $110-thousand from the Bremer Bank for five years to buy a new wildland truck for the Fire Department; approval of the County hazardous mitigation plan; approval of a contract with Cooper Engineering for services related to the Granum Boat Landing; a closed session to deal with the employment, promotion, compensation or performance of the Public Works Director, Police Chief, Sewer Plant operator, and Maintenance Department employee; the closed session will also consider competitive bargaining in regards to the purchase of City-owned property.
