Amery City Council Approved Changes To Granum Boat Landing Project

The Amery City Council met in special session yesterday afternoon, to consider four agenda items.  A change order for the Granum boat landing project was approved. It involves adding a concrete panel to the launch ramp at a cost up to $4,500.00. The council also learned that several tree plantings are to be part of the project, which Clerk-Treasurer Fran Duncanson noted would help meet requirements of Amery’s designation as a Tree City, and that plants for the rain garden at the boat landing are purchased from Dragonfly Gardens of Amery. The council also adopted the low bid for repairs at the Sewer wastewater treatment plan in the sum of $12,000.00.  The council expressed no interest in an offer from a resident to donate a house to the City.  The special meeting adjourned at about 5:25pm.
